The Opportunity


Obuks Ltd is the company behind PEAR, a system that replaces paper receipts at the point-of-sale by re-architecting how POS systems output proof of purchase.

The vision is clear: to make paper receipts obsolete by embedding PEAR technology and licensing the PEAR System to POS manufacturers.

We are now seeking a CEO to take PEAR to market and scale it into an industry-standard platform.

This is a scale, licensing, and ecosystem leadership role.

The Mission


As CEO, you will lead PEAR to commercial adoption by:

  • Licensing PEAR System to POS manufacturing companies

  • Embedding PEAR technology into POS ecosystems

  • Establishing PEAR as the default digital receipt infrastructure

  • Building strategic partnerships across retail, payments, and hardware

What You Will Be Responsible For


Commercial & Strategy


  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for PEAR

  • Lead enterprise licensing discussions with POS manufacturers

  • Define pricing, commercial models, and long-term revenue strategy

  • Position PEAR as infrastructure

Partnerships & Ecosystem


Build and manage relationships with POS hardware providers, payment platforms, and large retailers

  • Secure long-term licensing agreements

  • Navigate procurement, compliance, and enterprise sales cycles

Leadership & Execution


  • Lead the business alongside the Founder CEO and Co-CEO (Tech)

  • Build the early commercial team when required

  • Represent Obuks and PEAR publicly with credibility

Required Experience


You are likely to have:

  • Previous experience as a CEO, Founder, or senior executive in:

        • POS hardware

        • Retail technology

        • Payments

        • Embedded systems

        • Platform or infrastructure businesses

  • A proven track record of taking a new product to market

  • Experience negotiating enterprise licensing or strategic partnerships

  • Experience scaling B2B or B2B2C platforms
